
CHALLENGE
Bayer Environmental Science is one of three major divisions of Bayer Pharmaceuticals, responsible for product research, manufacturing and sales of Vector control focusing on anti-Malaria products.
The Market is constantly swamped with cheap products that disrupt the sales channels and undermine the cohesiveness in combating the spread of Malaria in tropical regions.
APPROACH:
Our response was the realization that this is a B2 project rather than a wholesale/retail distribution and this insight lead to a “Mission” – a campaign that involved all stakeholders as members of the mission across Africa to tackle the scourge of Malaria.
RESULT:
Initial indications are that the campaign is a success and is now being rolled out by Bayer in other tropical regions in South America and Asia.
The Mission campaign was subsequently adapted for global usage by Bayer.
